Steven Wade Dowler, 55, of Paragould, passed away May 11, 2015 at his residence. He was born September 27, 1959 to Jerry and Joyce Dowler. A lifetime farmer, Steve was an avid duck hunter and fisherman. He was also a member of Big Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents; son, Gene Dowler; daughter, Beth; two brothers, Scott and Tracy Dowler; two grandchildren, Hunter and Sara Dowler.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m.in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Marvin Wolf officiating. Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be several cousins of Steve.

Lasting memorials may be made to the Special Olympics.
