Syclesta Kay Nickerson, 68, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021. She was born March 30, 1953, to Orine Marvin. Kay loved gospel songs and enjoyed antique shopping.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Orine Marvin; husband, Robert Nickerson; grandparents, Doris S. and Laverna Marie Marvin; aunts, Wilma Strickland, Wilda Lenheart, Jewel Hatfield, Earline Childers, Eyvonne Hardin, and Lois Ervin; and uncles, J. D. Marvin and James Marvin.
Survivors include her uncles and aunts, G. E. Marvin, Beatrice Nettles, and Calvin Marvin; and numerous cousins and friends.
A graveside service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will be held on Thursday, May 6, at 1:00 p.m. at New Friendship Cemetery with Wayne Faulkner officiating.
