Thelma JonesJanuary 8, 1920 - February 22, 2014 Thelma Marie Jones, 94, of Paragould passed away February 22, 2014 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born January 8, 1920 in Paragould to C.B. and Loretta Davis. Thelma was a member of Lake Street Baptist Church.Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Virgil Jones; daughter, Maxine Crocket; granddaughters, Anita Morgan and Sue Crocket; four brothers, Tom Davis, Jim Davis, Doyle Davis, and Dixon Davis; and one sister, Mable Moore.Her survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Pauline and Joe Reeves of Paragould; two brothers, Fred Davis and Grady Davis; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends Monday, February 24 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Wayne Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens.The family would like to express a very special thank you to Dr. Brannon Treece.
