Thomas Bryant, 74, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021. He was born December 24, 1946, to Morris and Mae Bryant. Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a decorated Vietnam Veteran. Thomas was a member of Burkclaire Baptist Church in Memphis, TN and ordained as a deacon in 1982. He was a manager at Kroger in Dallas, TX, for 37 years. Thomas served the Lord with his work at Arkansas Baptist Children's Home. He worked for several years at Case Implement.


Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dora Ann "Bryant" Kennedy.


Survivors include his sweetheart for 64 years, Cheryl Bryant; son, Thomas C. Bryant; daughters, Janaca "Bryant" Cofer, Sherry Edwards; brothers, Charles Bryant, Harold Bryant, Luther Bryant; sister, Oramae Saffil and Glenda Bryant Trimms; grandchildren, Jessica Honaker, Hannah Renae-Dax Cofer, Christian Kate-Dax Cofer, Megan Paluck, Christopher Baldridge, Erica Baldridge, Temperence Knight; and great-grandchildren, Isaiah Lewis and Nina Lewis.


The family visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 13, at Walcott Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 13, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Walcott Baptist Church. The funeral service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will begin at 12:00 p.m. at Walcott Baptist Church with David Bowser officiating. Burial will follow at Caldwell Cemetery.


Thomas' nieces and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
