Timothy Wayne Cross departed this life on Monday, January 20, 2025, at his home in Paragould, surrounded by his loving family and friends.  He was born September 13, 1963, in Paragould to Leo and Joy Loree Cross.  Tim was a member of West View Baptist Church.  His entire career was spent working alongside his father and brothers in their family business, Cross Custom Siding.

Tim was a long-time Ducks Unlimited member and sponsor.  He served as President of the Walker Boat Dock at Norfork Lake for 20 years.  He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Arkansas Razorbacks.  Deer hunting was a great passion of Tim's.  He belonged to the following hunting clubs and these men were very special to him…the Knob Hunting Club, the Gates Hunting Club and the Hubble Hunting Club.  But his greatest passion of all was his love for his precious grandchildren, Lily and Leo Francis.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Fred Cross and Mable (Weitkamp) Cross; maternal grandparents, Edmund and Marie (White) Cross; and nephews, Brian Lee Cross and Jason Bolton.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lisa (Young) Cross; children, Timothy LB (Faith) Cross and Kimberly (Will) Mixon; grandchildren, Lily and Leo Francis Mixon; his little buddy, Lucy; sister, Brenda (Larry) Singleton; brothers, Danny (Merry Lee) Cross, Jerry (Debbie) Cross, and Tom (Cindy) Cross; mother-in-law, Pam Young; brothers-in-law, Chris (Heather) Young and Scott (Erin) Young and numerous nephews, nieces and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 23, from 4:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The celebration of Tim's life will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating.

Honorary pallbearers include the employees of Cross Custom Siding, the McClelland brothers, the Mitchell brothers, Dennis Risinger, Rick Ward, Kevin Eddings, Wade Taylor, Ernie Vaughn, Mark Coates and Britt Lyles.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to AR Pilots for Christ 204 S 7th St Paragould or MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
