With hearts full of love and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Tine Bejiko Tibunsay, who left this world on July 24, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on March 25, 1960, Tine’s life was a testament to devotion, compassion, and the quiet strength that leaves an indelible imprint on all who knew her.

Tine will be remembered most of all as the heart of her family, drawing strength from her loved ones and giving it back, unconditionally, each and every day. She was the beloved wife of the late Jose Tibunsay, together shaping a home that resonated with kindness, support, and laughter. Though Tine’s parents, Tibon Bejiko and Lora Joshia Laurom, preceded her in death, their spirits and traditions carried through in the values she upheld and the warmth she so freely gave.

Her legacy is vividly alive in her surviving children: sons Stevenson Bilon Leer, Junejune T Leer, and Julio Tibunsay, as well as daughters Shirolynn Omiti Lokeijak and Jennie Tibunsay; 19 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Tine’s children were her pride and joy, each milestone and shared memory woven into the tapestry of her remarkable life.

Throughout her years, Tine created a legacy not measured by grand gestures but by the quiet moments of care. Tine was a very special woman she loved to dance and sing. Her love for those arts also brought her the love to play the ukulele for all her friends and family. Her family remembers her for the guidance she offered, her listening ear, and her steadfast nature in the face of life’s storms. She loved spending her free time with her grandchildren.

Those wishing to pay their respects are invited to attend an overnight visitation on August 21, 2026, from 1:00 PM to August 22, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home, located at 4904 W Kingshighway, Paragould, Arkansas. A funeral service in her honor will follow the next day, August 22, at 3:00 PM, also at Phillips Funeral Home.
