Tommy Scott, 64, of Paragould passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016.  He was born, May 13, 1951, in Paragould to Thomas and Jane Scott.  Tommy was an avid hunter and loved farming.  He retired after 25 years from Tenneco Automotive.  Tommy was of Methodist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father and step mother, Thomas and Peggy Scott; brother in law, Freddie McMillon.

Survivors include Tommy's wife of 28 years, Doretta Scott, of the home; mother, Jane Scott, of Paragould; sons and daughters in law, Shannon and Rhonda Scott, of Strawberry, AR, and Dustin and Ashley Scott, of Paragould; brother and sister in law, Randy and Judy Scott; step brothers, Bob and Michael Petty; sister, Lorraine McMillon; grandchildren, Brandon Scott, Randal Scott, and Mason Stark; several uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 8, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Brother Phillip Brown and Brother Jessie Dollars officiating.  Burial will follow at Lorado Cemetery.

Brett McMillon, Greg McMillon, Justin Scott, Brandon Scott, Randal Scott, and Greg Huffine will serve as pallbearers.  Mason Stark will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
