Tressa Yvonne Vincent, 69, of Paragould, AR passed away after a brilliant battle against Multiple Myeloma on Friday, February 24, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House surrounded by her family. She was born on September 13, 1953 in Fairbanks, AK, to Francis 'Clint' and Betty Lou Rose.

When Tressa was growing up, she moved across the country multiple times as her dad forged a military career, but in May of 1979, she found her forever home with her husband of 43 years, Marty Vincent.

Tressa was a member of Shields Baptist Church in Hornersville, MO.

Tressa was mother to Mike, Dodie, Rance, Matt and Justin.  She was "Nanny" to Jeremy, Colton (preceded in death), Mary-Catherine, Kyle, Ryan, Bailey, Mason, Emma-Grace, Tyler, Kinley, Ellee, Charlotte Rose, River, Rayleigh, Ryker, Sutton, Isaiah, and Wiley Hayes.

Tressa was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Alan Rose; and grandson,
Colton Howard.

Tresssa worked many years at Rector Sportswear in Rector, AR.  In her final position there, she was a Quality Control Supervisor.  When Rector Sportswear closed, Tressa enrolled in college completing a Degree in Business with a 4.0 GPA. Tressa then worked for Unilever in Jonesboro, AR from which she retired.

Tressa helped to raise countless horses.  Tressa was a working member of the NorthEast Arkansas Horse Show Association (NEAHSA) for decades.  She helped to organize multiple charity horseshoes that benefited handicapped children. The family was honored with the NEAHSA Family of the Year award in 2005.

Tressa only loved one other man besides Marty, and that was Elvis Presley.  She enjoyed all of his music and movies.

Tressa enjoyed singing.  Her and Marty would sing together at family reunions; her and her dad would sing duets in church. She loved to read.

Tressa LOVED unique jewelry with pops of bling.  She always wore the most beautiful blouses. You never saw her without both.

Tressa was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 27, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, at Phillips Funeral Home with Ricky Rose officiating.  Burial will follow at New Friendship Cemetery.

Mason Vincent, Tyler Vincent, Shawn Anderson, Colton Brown, Austin Vaughn, Marty Rose, Kane Vaughn, and Kyle Vincent will serve as pallbearers.
