Trina Michelle Huckabay passed away on May 7, 2026. Born on June 7, 1972, Trina lived a life marked by love, dedication, and a passion for her family and interests.
Throughout her life, Trina found joy in the simple pleasures of home and family. She was known for her exceptional cooking skills and her unique hobby of Indian rock hunting, pursuits that brought her fulfillment and happiness. Above all, she treasured spending quality time with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be deeply missed.
Trina is lovingly remembered by her husband, Gary Huckabay; her children: son Calvin Thomas Kincade and his wife Mallory; daughters Lissa Jade Huckabay and Hailey Dawn Huckabay (Landon Rawls). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Waylon Rawls, Alaska May Miller, and Trenton Taylor Bunch, who brought her immeasurable joy. Trina also leaves behind her sisters, Tina Boyd and Nicole Wilson, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Her passing marks the loss of a beloved family member who was preceded in death by her parents, Tom Wheeler and Donna Mullins; her step-father, Jim Mullins; her brother, Tom Wheeler; and her grandparents.
Friends, family, and all who were touched by Trina’s kindness and strength are invited to a visitation at Phillips Funeral Home. The visitation will be held on May 15, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service to honor her life and memory will follow at the same location on May 16, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM with Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Hosea Cemetery.
Major Ray, Landon Rawls, Jonathan Weese, Clint Kincade, Aiden Miller, Brian Twitty will serve as pallbearers. Logan Rouse and Joseph Gandy will serve as honorary pallbearers.
