Vernice Elnora Potter, 76, of Paragould, passed away April 22, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 1, 1938 to the late Clarence and Velma Gilliam. Mrs. Potter enjoyed quilting and was a member of Lighthouse Apostolic Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; first husband and father of her children, Tancil Brown; son, Lonnie Brown; brothers, Donald, Roland, Kenneth, Albert, and Walter Gilliam.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence Potter; sons and daughters in law, Ronald and Tami Brown of Hillcrest, OR and Richard and Sharon Brown of Paragould; daughters and sons in law, Connie Nelson of Ward, AR, Bonnie and Wesley  Woods of Paragould, Mary Ann and Roger Roby of Altoona, KS and step daughter, Mary Fry; brother and sister in law, Paul and Dianne Gilliam of Marmaduke, AR; sister and brother in law, Linda and Ronnie Fears of Stanford, AR; along with several  grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 25, from 11:00 a.m. till noon at Lighthouse Apostolic Church with funeral services starting at noon with Bro. Jason Adams officiating.  Burial will follow at Gainesville Cemetery.
