Virginia Jane Scott, 91, of Paragould, passed away at AMMC on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. She was born May 29, 1932, to Hon and Estelle Myers. Virginia loved her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed doing yard work, and shopping with her family.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tommy Scott; son in law, Freddie McMillon; brother, Bud Myers; sisters, Inetha Chitwood, Meredith Weston, Kitty Swindle, and Jean Williams.

Survivors include her daughter Lorraine McMillon; son Randy Scott (Judy); daughter in law, Doretta Scott; grandchildren, Shannon Scott (Rhonda), Dustin Scott (Cali), Brett McMillon (Julie), Greg McMillon (Lynna), Justin Scott (Devon), Holly Butler, Leigh Ann Gantt (Junior), and Vanessa Fink (Jeff); numerous great grandchildren; and four great- great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 5, at Phillips Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until service time. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Hal Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Lorado Cemetery.

Brett McMillon, Greg McMillon, Justin Scott, Shannon Scott, Frankie Swindle, Carlos Eason and Dustin Scott will serve as pallbearers. Great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
