Walter Dean Lyles, 85, of Jonesboro, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024. He was born November 14, 1938, to Walter and Sally Lyles. Dean worked as a Brick Mason and was known as a very hard worker.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Foy "Floppy" Lyles, Jim Lyles, J.L. Lyles, Maxine Light, Iola Lyles, Viola Lyles, Ernest Lyles, Paul Lyles, Hazel Lyles, and Lela Lyles; and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Lyles.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Sipes; children, Vernon Lyles, Teresa Elaine Hall (Keith), Calvin Cloyd Lyles (Kelly), Ronnie Condray; brothers, Harvey Lyles (Sandra), William "Bill" Lyles (Diane); sisters, Sally Husky (Joe), Donnie Bingham; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 22, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Jeremy Denim, Wayne Howard, Joe Walker, Lanny Walker, Mike Gatlin, Mitchell Gander, and Eric Rook will serve as pallbearers.
