Wanda Lee Vester, 96, of Paragould, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, April 19, 2023.  She was born November 8, 1926, in Supply, Arkansas, to Henry and Gertie Poff.   Wanda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always put God and her family first.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Junior Vester; grandson, Anthony Vester; brother-in-law, Ryburn Rapert.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Brenda Vester; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Alan Bruce; sister-in-law, Vita Mae Rapert; grandchildren, Stephanie Vester, Missy and Robby Arnold, Kendall and Resi Vester; step-grandchildren, Alicia Wilcox, Aaron Bruce, and Austin Bruce; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Carly Arnold, Tristen and Kylie Arnold, Cameron Vester, Landen Vester, and Callie Vester; and great-great grandchildren, Braylee Arnold, Kinslee Arnold, and Wrenlee Arnold.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 22, from noon until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Pickney and Rev. Howard Huddle officiating.  Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Tyler Arnold, Landen Vester, Tristen Arnold, Terry Rapert, Cameron Vester, and Corey Campbell will serve as pallbearers.  Stanley Rapert, Kendall Vester, and Rick Hyde will serve as honorary pallbearers.
