William Eugene Roberts, of Roberts Drive in Paragould, AR. passed away December 2, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born December 31, 1927 at Beech Grove to the late O.H. and Willie Roberts. An Army Veteran, Mr. Roberts was retired from Emerson Electric and a member at unity Baptist Church. He worshipped his family and loved to be outdoors. Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Flavious Roberts and M.C. Roberts; one great grandson, Drew Penny.Survivors include his spouse, Mary Lou Roberts; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Misty Roberts and Mark and Sheila Roberts; two daughters and sons-in-law, Louetta and Steve Penny and Phyllis and Darron House; two brothers, Kenneth and Dallas Roberts; two sisters, Ovean Finley and Mary Cochran; seven grandchildren, Nic and Doug Penny, Derek and Danual House, and Justin, Chelsey, and Kyla Roberts; four great-grandchildren, Ross, Kalyn, Aver and Will Penny.The family will receive friends 6-8 PM, Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Phillips Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in the Center Hill Chapel at Phillips Funeral Home with Kevin Murray and Tracy Archibald officiating. Burial will follow at Greene county Memorial Gardens.
