William Franklin (Frank) White, 80, of Paragould, passed away December 31, 2016, at his home.  He was born August 5, 1936, in Beech Grove to Harvey Lee and Mattie Fay White.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Donald and Alvin White; one sister, Anna Mae Pickler; one son, Greg White; and his loving wife of 57 years, Shirley White.

He is survived by two sons, Jimmy White and Kenny White, both of Paragould, AR; four daughters, Freda Dodd, of Marmaduke, AR, Ramona Metz, of Marmaduke, AR, Marla Gozell, of Paragould, AR, and Angie Metz, of Paragould, AR; one brother, David White, of Paragould, AR; three sisters, Dulcie Hall, Rosie Percifull, and Pat Overshine, all of Paragould, AR.

His passion in life was raising and training bird dogs, and riding horses.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Brother Marion Gramling and Kim Bridges officiating.  Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.  Serving as pallbearers will be his nephews, Keith White, Wendell Rogers, Michael White, Todd Price, Kent Overshine, Kendall Overshine, David White, and Shawn White.

Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons, Chevy White, Zachary Metz, and Tyler Gozell.
