Wilma McCrelessNovember 04, 1937 - May 29, 2014 Wilma McCreless, 76 of Paragould, AR passed away May 29, 2014 at St. Bernard's Medical Center. She was born November 4, 1937 to the late Edgar and Laverne Blankenship. Wilma worked for Montgomery Ward for twenty five years and also worked at Emerson Electric for eight years. She was a member of Brown's Chapel church and volunteered for twenty three years for Lady Auxiliary at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center where she was their president for one term. Preceding her in death were her parents; a son Kenneth McCreless and one great granddaughter Josie May Austin.Survivors include her husband, Billy McCreless; two sons and daughters in law, Ron and Tammy McCreless of Rector and Darrell and Darla McCreless of Paragould, AR; a daughter, Carol Sue Austin of Paragould, AR; four brothers Bud Blankenship, Eddie Blankenship, Ron and Gayle Blankenship all of Paragould, AR and Dennis and Linda Blankenship of Jasper, AR; two sisters, Loretta Hallman and Lavetta Staton; seven grandchildren, AJ and Tyler Austin, Hailey McCreless, Eric and Brooke Clayton and Chase and Addison McCreless and two great grandchildren, Cash and Barrett Austin.Pallbearers include Gary Worley, Jim Bradley, Keith Metzker, Don Russell, Jerry Gifford and Jeff Gammon. The family will receive friends Saturday May 31, 2014 from 11 - 1 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Services will follow at 1 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Royce Boling officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion cemetery.
