Angela "P. I. G." Phillips

Angela “P. I. G.” Phillips, 25, of Marmaduke, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She was born August 14, 1996, to Christy Davis and Byron Phillips. Angela attended Focus, Inc. She loved watching movies, dancing, and listening to music. Angela received her Make-A-Wish to see One Direction, Christie Matthews interviewed her for. She loved old cars and could tell you any model and year a car was. She was a 2016 graduate of Marmaduke High School and attended Brown’s Chapel Baptist Church.

Angela was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Carol Phillips; and great-grandparents, Finies and Leoda Stacy, Willie and Cletus Godfrey.

Survivors include her mother, Christy Davis; father, Byron Phillips; maternal grandparents, David and Trish Stacy; paternal grandparent, Monica Oost; brother, Kyle Phillips; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 26, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Keith Defries officiating. Burial will follow at Hartsoe Cemetery.

The family requests for all attendees to please do not wear black. Angela did not like the color black.

Tim Stacy, David Cupples, Shane Eubanks, Tom Carter, Randy Hembrey and Josh Edwards will serve as pallbearers.
