Benny McDaniel Obituary

Ben McDaniel passed away at the age of 83 on June 21, 2019, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro Arkansas.

Ben had a love for life and everyone around him knew it.  If you were blessed enough to spend time with him, you would say he was very charismatic, funny, and always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. He had the ability to make ANYONE laugh and a good hearty one at that. When he walked in a room most everyone knew him. His charm and wit could light up the place.

Some called him "Uncle Ben" and felt like he was family, but that's just how he made you feel.  He was a very unselfish man that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He also carried a bag of dog food in his truck and when he saw a stray animal, he would stop where he was and feed them.

Ben served in the Air Force and worked hard all of his life. He had a love for football (especially Ole Miss). I am sure this fall he will be in heaven rooting on his Rebels and yelling at the refs.

Ben was preceded in death by his older brother, Edwin Ray McDaniel. His surviving family is his brothers, Cecil McDaniel and family, Chester McDaniel and family; his two daughters, Rebecca Denise Larson and Angela Prudence Adams; his four grandsons; and one great grandson.

Ben was laid to rest alongside his grandparents in Senatobia Mississippi following a private ceremony.

Ben, you will be missed by so many.

We love you and GO REBELS!
