Bill Sanders Obituary

Bill Sanders, 74, of Rector, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021. He was born August 25, 1946, to Hershel and Lois Sanders. Bill was an Army Veteran. He was baptized at Hughes Lake in Piggott. He married Linda Conyers on March 15, 1968, and worked until retiring at Emerson. He enjoyed repairing lawnmowers, tractors, houses, and loved mowing the yard. Bill was a wonderful, funny person to be around and he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. 
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Linda Sanders.
Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Barry and Dawn Sanders of Rector; siblings, Judy Williams, Betty Drope (Verlin), Monty Sanders (Kathy), and Tony Sanders (Mary); grandchildren, Kyler Sanders, Cade Timms, Alyssa Farmer (Harry), Kanaan Diddle; and great-grandchildren, Kayley, Paisley, and Colton Farmer.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 13, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at First General Baptist Church in Rector. The funeral service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will begin at 11:00 a.m. at First General Baptist Church with Ernie Rinks officiating. Burial will follow at Piggott Cemetery.
Barry Sanders, Nathan Sanders, David Timms, Larry Conyers, Kanaan Diddle, Cade Timms, Kelly Williams, and Kevin Drope will serve as pa
