Billy Joe Elmore

Billy Joe Elmore, 78, of Paragould, passed on to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 1, 2020, while at home. He was born June 19, 1941, to Rufus and Mary Elmore. He was retired from Emerson Electric.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Elmore; daughters, Amanda Clesi (Ron) of Maumelle, Melody Kirkland of Kentucky; son, Russell Sullivan (Christine) of Bentonville; brothers, Robert Elmore (Carolyn) of Paragould, Lonnie Elmore (Joan) of Paragould; sister, Bonnie Walls (Bill) of Paragould; six grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 4, from 11:30 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Johnson and Bro. Royce Boling officiating. Burial will follow at Finch Cemetery.

David Elmore, Jon Elmore, Kevin Elmore, David Levins, Roger Conway, and Fuzz Symons will have the honor to serve as pallbearers.
