Bobby Lee Pate

Bobby Lee Pate, 63, of Paragould, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022.  He was born October 19, 1958, in Paragould, to Bobby Wayne and Joyce Pate.  Bobby served 8 years in the U.S. Army.  He worked at Darling for over 35 years.  Camping and fishing were his favorite pastimes.  He enjoyed watching the news, history channel, and anything political.  He attended Union Central Church of Christ.  Above all, Bobby enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Sydney.  Bobby was a kind, gentle man that would do anything for anyone.  He was a one of a kind husband, father figure, and grandfather.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Wayne Pate.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Diane Pate; mother, Joyce Pate; step-daughters, Cyndee Manchester and Lori Manchester; granddaughter, Sydney Manchester; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Dawn Pate and Tom and Jodi Pate; sister and brother-in-law, Trish and Tom Boresi; nieces and nephews, Kim and Tony Miller, Stephanie and Mark Militzer, Emily Pate, Jami Godlewski and Dustin Brown, Brittany and Rick Drennen, and Andrew Pate and Olivia Metzgar; and several great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 19, from noon until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Tim Wooldridge officiating.  Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery.

David Pate, Tom Pate, Andrew Pate, Mark Militzer, Rick Drennen, and Tom Boresi will serve as pallbearers.  Tony Miller and Dustin Brown will serve as honorary pallbearers.
