Charles Sidney Woodson

Charles S. Woodson, 81, of Paragould, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020. He was born March 5, 1939, to Earl and Della Woodson. Above all, Charles was a man of God and attended First Church of God in Paragould. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Charles had a passion for helping others in need. He delivered food to shelters and went above and beyond to care for others. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Woodson; and nine siblings.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Ellen Woodson; sons and daughters in law, Chuck and Donna Woodson, Darren and Tammy Woodson; brother, Larry Woodson; and grandchildren, Craig Woodson, Steven Woodson, Sarah Hernandez (Edgar), Daniel Woodson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at noon in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Ralph Barclay and Billy Pearson officiating.
