Debby Mangrum Obituary


Debby Lin Mangrum, 65, passed from this earthly life on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  She was born in Paragould, Arkansas, on March 21, 1955.  She lived her entire life in Paragould with her family, and she was of Baptist faith.  Debby loved working with the public and it seems she never met a stranger.
Debby was preceded in death by her parents, Rayburn and Betty Johnson; two sisters, Reba Johnson and Paula Easton; and her infant son, Rayburn Edison Mangrum.
Debby is survived by her husband of 47 years, Earl Mangrum, of the home; her children and grandchildren, Melissa and Michael Ward and Olivia, Brandon and Savannah Ward, and Hailee and Eli Myatt, all of Jonesboro,  Lenzie and Sara Mangrum and Manuel and Kellan of Phoenix, Arizona, Jacob and Jenny Mangrum and Owen and Cherish of Paragould.  She is also survived by several siblings and their families.  Debby’s brothers include, Danny Johnson and Gary Johnson; sisters, Reta Gramling, Donna Eaton, Sandy Brothers, Rose Rogers, and Ruth Johnson, as well as a large extended family and many friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips Funeral Home.  There will be no public service at this time.  The family will hold a memorial service at a later date, when restrictions on gatherings are lifted.
