Edna Lee Jones

Edna Lee Jones, 69, of Paragould, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born October 2, 1953, to Elmer and Lillian Jones. Our precious Edna Lee Jones had a heart so pure.  She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family unconditionally. Everyone loved Edna and she had many friends.  When she was with you, she was completely present.  She always had kind words, a smile, and big hug and made you feel so welcomed in her presence.  
Edna loved her dogs.  She rescued a precious cattle dog and named her Crystal.  Edna loved to bake and paint and loved looking and taking in God's creations including the mountains, oceans, lakes,rivers, plants, trees, butterflies, and birds.  
Her husband, children and grandchildren miss her tremendously, but rest in comfort knowing that Jesus carried her home and she is with her many loved ones who passed on before her rejoicing. 
Revelations 21 tells us what Heaven is like, Psalms 23 gives us the Lord's Prayer and the Holy Spirit comforts our souls until the day we are reunited with her again.   
Edna was preceded in death by her parents; sons, John Jackson, III, Lawrence Wayne Jackson; brother, Benjamin Jones; and sister, Dee Dee.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, John Jackson; daughters, Teresa (Herman) Fisher, Cynthia (Jason) Hoots; sisters, Mona Beck, Brenda Rogers; grandchildren, Brittany (Shaynen) Hall, Nathan Fisher, Jonathon Cook, Cameron Cook, Jeremy (Gabriella) Jackson, Caitlyn (Parker) Cain, Christian (Madison) Fisher, Christopher Logan Fisher, Alexander Fisher, Reagan Fisher, Grace Fisher, Otis (Ashley) Fisher; and great-grandchildren, Kashton Lewis, Creed Lewis, Jaylin Hall, Landon Fisher, Ryland Fisher, Kennedy Fisher, Collin Fisher, Willow Cain, Holland Cain, Maverick Fisher, and Norah Fisher.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 21, from 2:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Cardwell Cemetery.
