Elijah "Eli" Michael Dunigan, 22, of Paragould, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. He was born on February 18, 2000. Eli enjoyed fishing, hunting with his dad and brothers, and going mudding with his friends. He also enjoyed a good bonfire and eating anything Dylan cooked. You could always find him riding thru town on his motorcycle and his truck. He enjoyed spending time with his dog, Teager. Eli also loved to entertain his nieces and nephews, shoot guns with his Poppa Tony, and watch the Hogs play with his big sis. Eli had the brightest personality in every room he was in and his smile was very contagious. He was employed at Tenneco where he was a dedicated worker and co-worker. Eli was full of life, hopes, and dreams. He had big plans for his future.
Eli was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Jeanette Newman, Susan Newman; Misti Newman; uncle, Terry Newman; and brother, CJ Dunigan.
Survivors include his parents, Carl and Mary Dunigan; poppa, Tony Newman (Carol); grandma, Mary Faye Johnson; brother, Alexander Dunigan; sisters, Hailey Dunigan, Crystal Bryeans (Dylan), Wendy Dunigan; special aunt, Mandy Cox (Derick), Ian and Van; nieces and nephews, Brylee, Blakelee, Khloe, Faye, Ryker, Carter; Elizabeth Willis, Anthony Gibby; and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 29, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Saturday, April 30, at 3:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Mickey Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow at Warren's Chapel Cemetery.
Devin Clemmer, Joseph Grooms, Andrew Price, Pappas Estrada, Trey Newman, and Noah Newman will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Tony Newman, Christian Weese, Sean Newman, and Larry Wilson, Jr.
