Howard Wayne Jackson

Howard Wayne Jackson, 81, of Paragould, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021. He was born March 3, 1940, to Fletcher and Ella Jackson. Howard enjoyed visiting people and was very well known everywhere he went. He was a farmer in his younger days and worked until retiring at Barton's.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Helen Jackson, Joan Ray; and brothers, Lawrence, Jimmy, Tommy, Bobby, Dalton, and Ralph Jackson.
Survivors include his son, Jesse Jackson (Judy); daughters, Kathy Jackson, Melissa Harris; sisters, Betty Brewer, Shirley Holland, and Joyce Messer; grandchildren, David Jackson, Kayla Lammers, Brian Jackson, Jeff Harris, Felecia Wofford, and Derek Earls; and several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 30, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. A procession will leave Phillips Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. for a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. at Providence Cemetery in Lafe with Sally Shepard officiating.
Derek Earls, Terry Ellis, Jeff Harmon, Ronnie Ellis, David Jackson, and Jeff Harris will serve as pallbearers.
