Joan McNatt Gragg

Joan McNatt Gragg, 77, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.  She was born February 27, 1941, in Greensboro, Arkansas, to Aud and Macle Grace McNatt.  Joan was a devoted member of the Brookland Church of Christ where she also served as the bookkeeper and secretary.  She was a true servant of the Lord who nourished peopled around her with love and faith.  Joan dearly loved her family and cherished time with her grandbabies.  Her special interests included a love for chickens and she was a Cardinal baseball fan. 

Joan was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 57 years, Lowell Gragg.  Joan loved Lowell and she showed her devotion by caring for him until the end.

Survivors include Joan’s daughters and sons in law, Lori and Jamie Dial, Tina and Shane Hill; sister, Janette Cribbs; and grandchildren, Grace Lynn Dial, Lilly Anne Dial, and Joni Christine Hill.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 25, from noon until service time at Brookland Church of Christ under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Jeff Heitman and Loyd Davis officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

Jerry Reed, Shane Hill, Jeff Cribbs, Tyler Cribbs, Jamie Dial, and Jason Cribbs will serve as pallbearers.  The elders of the Brookland Church of Christ will serve as honorary pallbearers.
