Kay Williams Stroud, 80, of Batesville, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021. She was born June 17, 1941, to Clifton and Ethel Thompson. Her family was the sunshine of her life and she was the sunshine of their lives. She was dearly loved. Shopping was Kay's favorite pastime. She cherished the time she spent with her church family and loved the Lord. She attended North Heights Church of Christ in Batesville.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vesta Gene Williams; brother, Charles Thompson; sister, Glenda Beasley; sisters in law, Willyne Thompson Jordan, Verna Jean Williams; and nephew, Grant Williams.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth "Buck" Stroud; daughter, Robin Exum (Bryan); son, Lance Williams; brother in law, Bill Beasley; grandchildren, Grayson Exum, Dustin Williams, Haleigh Bowers; great-grandchildren, Channing Bowers, Haven Bowers, Piper Bowers; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 6, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Bro. Kim Bridges and Steve Norris officiating. A private burial will follow.
Grayson Exum, Brad Beasley, Clayton Beasley, Mason Beasley, Shannon Beasley, and Larry Thompson will serve as pallbearers.
