Kegan Reece Flanery

Kegan Reece Flanery, 15, passed away on May 3, 2023, in Paragould, Arkansas. He enjoyed being outdoors and riding his four-wheeler. He loved Arkansas Razorback football, hunting, and was an active member of the FFA at Greene County Tech. He loved animals especially his dog, Remi. Kegan wanted to be a marine biologist or a veterinarian.

Kegan was preceded in death by his great grandparents, CT and Ruth Swindle, U.S. and Barbara Jones, Tom and Bonnie Flanery; grandmother, Kimberly Flanery; uncles, Chance and Cameron Jones and Dayton Flanery.

Kegan is survived by his father Matthew (Stephanie) Flanery; his mother, Tiffany (John) Burcham; siblings, Gavin Burcham of the home, Carlee Godfrey, Jaden Flanery, Jeremy Mitchell, Matthew Luke Flanery, Baylor Mitchell and Scarlett Flanery; grandparents, William Flanery, Russell and LaRonda Jones; great grandparents, Marston and Barbara Carpenter; uncles and aunts, Richard (Brooke) Flanery, Jon (Lauren) Flanery, Kayton Flanery, Skyler Jones; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family member, and classmates, teachers and staff of the Greene County Tech School District.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 6, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 7, at Phillips Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Brown’s Chapel Cemetery.

Dale Swindle, Jon Flanery, Bill Tarkington, Richard Flanery, Skyler Jones, and Josh Carpenter will serve as pallbearers.  Chase Tarkington and Jordan Swindle will serve as honorary pallbearers.
