Keith Henry Wellsted received his victorious reward after a lengthy hospitalization on October 2, 2021. He was born February 28, 1955, in Flint, Michigan, to Clayton H. Wellsted, Jr. and Shirley Ann (Ford) Wellsted. Keith was not a man of great stature, but he was a “giant of faith and goodness.” He was the patriarch of his family and guided everyone by his faith in God and kindness to others. He never met a stranger and made everyone around him comfortable with his quick wit and infectious laugh. He was a jokester and loved nothing more than to surprise others by popping in to say hi or calling for a quick chat or pep talk. Keith will be greatly missed by all his family.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Diane Wellsted; sister, Sue Donaldson; and nephew, Jared Bruner.
Survivors include his wife, Andra Wellsted; sons and daughter-in-law, Seth and Jenny Wellsted, and Zachary Wellsted; brothers, Rick Wellsted, Don Wellsted, and Ron Wellsted; sisters, Desiree Londrigan (Paul), Debbie Demory, Darla Wellsted, and DeAnna Wellsted; grandchildren, Elle Wellsted, Enosh Wellsted, and Everett Wellsted.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 9, at 7th and Mueller Church of Christ from 10:00 a.m. until service time. A celebration of Keith’s life will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, at 7th and Mueller Church of Christ with Art Smith officiating. A meal will follow the service.
