Leeman Formon, 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. He was born December 16, 1934, to James and Hallie Formon. Leeman owned and operated Formon Upholstery for over 60 years. He was very good at his craft. He was hearing impaired, but he overcame many obstacles to keep on working. He did not let anything stand in his way. He was an inspiration to his family and others. He loved everyone he came across and was a driving force to his family. Leeman was a very loving and caring man and had a great sense of humor.
Leeman was preceded in death by his parents and eleven siblings.
Survivors include his sons, Rayburn Formon (Becky), Warren Formon; daughter, Julia Formon; grandchildren, Amee, Derek, Andy, Erica, Paige, and Caleb; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Derek Formon, Andy Formon, Caleb Layne, Paige Condray, Erica Goeson, and Gabe Goeson will serve as pallbearers. Jeremy Condray will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 27, at Phillips Funeral Home from noon until service time. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Scott Trayler officating. Burial will follow at Pruett's Chapel Cemetery.
