Lilly Redden Obituary
Lilly May Redden, 76, of Paragould, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020. She was born September 25, 1944, to Olen and Oma Cardwell. Lill was a member of Westview Baptist Church for 28 years. She was an avid book reader and loved doing crossword puzzles. She was secretary at the Senior Bees and a bank teller at First National Bank. She loved to travel with her sisters. Lill was loving, God fearing Christian mother who always had a kind word, warm smile, and huge forgiving heart. Her sisters will truly miss her sunny, positive self.
Lill was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Everett Cardwell, Johnnie Cardwell, Dean Carothers, and Wesley Cardwell.
Survivors include her sons and daughters in law, Michael and Tanya Redden of St. Louis, MO, John and Stacy Redden of Paragould; sisters, Betty Windes of Fenton, MO, Sue Quinton of Sheridan, AR, Barbara Mullins (Bruce) of of Sheridan, AR; grandchildren, Adam Redden of Paragould, Tyler Redden of St. Louis, MO; and like a daughter, Melissa Sutherland (Todd).
A memorial service under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 16, at Westview Baptist Church with Dr. Marc Reeves officiating.
Lasting memorials may be made to Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
