Linda Faulkner Obituary

Linda Kaye Faulkner, 76, of Paragould, entered her heavenly home on Monday, November 2, 2020.  She was born on July 1, 1944, in Jonesboro, AR, to Ralph and Fern Tennison.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Fern Tennison, three sisters, Joyce Speed, Pat Adams, and Deborah Klingensmith, and father in law and mother in law, Lester and Viva Noles Faulkner.  She was also preceded in death by a dear friend, Linda Christian. 
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Gene "Star" Faulkner of the home; one son, Tony Faulkner, and daughter in law, Brandy of Paragould; one daughter, Starla Wood, and son in law, Chad of Paragould.  She is survived by two grandchildren she loved and adored Madi Wood and Blaine Wood both of Paragould, three step grandchildren, Justice Condray, Houston Barker, and Karlee Barker all of Paragould.  As well as her friends, Diann Walker, Tammy Taylor, Linda Hoppe, and Brenda Henry.
Linda grew up at Walcott and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  She was a 1962 graduate of Greene County Tech High School.  Linda worked at First National Bank for years before leaving the bank to work for Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Company.  She found the career she loved in sales and was very successful in this field.  She received many awards in the Northeast Arkansas area and in the state.  She later retired to enjoy other things in life.  Linda loved the Lord.  She attended Community Fellowship Church in Jonesboro.  She loved her family.  She also loved her dear friends "The Click."  Linda enjoyed working crossword puzzles, interior decorating, shopping, and listening to gospel music.
The funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday, November 7, at Community Fellowship Church,  1600 Red Wolf Blvd, Jonesboro with Chad Wood officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. 
David Klingensmith, Gary Williams, Scott Taylor, Tim Matlock, Houston Barker, and Justice Condray will serve as pallbearers.  Ken Hoppe and Greg Walker will serve as honorary pallbearers.
