Marcella Rogers Obituary
Marcella Rogers, 77, of Paragould, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She was born March 28, 1943, to Parmer and Emma Thompson. Marcella worked until retiring from Emerson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carroll Rogers; and brothers, Jim and Harold Thompson.
Survivors include her sons and daughters in law, Tony and Sandy Varvil, Gerald and Kim Varvil; stepchildren, Wendell and Marianna Rogers, Kim and Bruce Hunt, Melinda and Randy Bishop, Sheila and Robert Anderson; sisters and brothers in law, Norma Wineland, Melba and Neal Garner, Reba and Curtis Conyers; grandchildren, Ricky Varvil, Brandon Bracken (Amie), Josh Noel (Presley Phillips), Zach Noel (Lindsay), Cody Noel (Jessica); and great-grandchildren, Miles and Elliott Bracken, Carson, Austin, and Kylie Kaye Noel, Drake, Darcy, and Ryder Noel.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 2, from 1:30 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Chase Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
Josh Noel, Zach Noel, Cody Noel, Ricky Varvil, Trey Dortch, and Chase Morgan will serve as pallbearers.
The wonderful staff of Greene Acres Nursing Home will serve as honorary pallbearers.
