Mark Steven McDaniel

Mark Steven McDaniel, 66, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023.   He was born November 24, 1956, in Great Lakes Naval Station, Illinois.  Fast cars and motorcycles were a passion of Mark’s.  Mark had a gift of making people laugh no matter what the situation was.  Whether it was telling stories with such enthusiasm, or making sound effects.  He was a giving, loving, honest man who was always true to his word.  Mark was a loving son and dependable friend.  He was a very caring big brother.  Most importantly, he was a wonderful dad.  He loved his daughter, Megan, more than life.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Kelly; brother, Darren McDaniel; and step-mother, Marlene McDaniel.

Survivors include his father, Major McDaniel; daughter, Megan McDaniel; mother of his daughter, Tammy Goodman; stepdaughter, Brandy Cooper (Thomas); grandchildren, Taytem, Rylee, and Avery Cooper; and step-sister, Jeanna Bailey.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 19, at Phillips Funeral Home with Kent McDaniel officiating. 

Mark was truly loved by so many people and he will always be in our hearts.
