Obituary
Matthew Gene Gurien, 53, of Paragould, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022. He was born May 30, 1969, to Bill and Robbie Gurien. Matthew worked at Anchor Packaging and enjoyed playing pool. He loved barbeques, bonfires, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Gurien.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Holly Gurien; mother, Robbie Gurien; son, Kyler Gurien (Danielle) of Colorado; daughter, Alyssa Gurien; sister, Lee Roberts (Joe); nieces, Angela King (Daniel), Kali Harrison (Ben); nephews, J C Wright, Dalton Wright, John Tyler Poe (Rachel); several great nieces and nephews; and special friends he could not have made it without, Don and Angie Wages.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 29, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
