Mazie Jane Smith, 4 months old, was the sweetest baby ever, was born on May 5, 2023, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and passed away peacefully on September 4, 2023, in Paragould, Arkansas. In her short time on earth, Mazie brought immense joy and happiness to her family and everyone who had the privilege of meeting her. Her bright and spunky personality radiated warmth and love, touching the hearts of all around her.

Mazie was the beloved daughter of Zachary Smith and Alyssa Cole. She was the adored younger sister of Remi Helton, who cherished every moment spent with her. Mazie was also the treasured granddaughter of Charles Smith, Patrick and Brenda Cole, Margret Smith (Phillips Hancock), and Kelly Sullivan. She was the great-granddaughter of the late Kenneth and Norma McCullum, and the late Randall Clinton. Mazie is also survived by many aunts and uncles, who will forever remember her infectious smile and the happiness she brought into their lives.

Mazie was a bundle of joy who loved her mommy and daddy dearly. She would light up with excitement every time it was time to eat, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. She was ticklish under her chin and cheeks, her giggles filling the room with a delightful melody that would make everyone's heart melt. Mazie's cheerful disposition and radiant smile were her trademarks, and she had a knack for making everyone around her smile too.

Mazie Jane Smith's life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and happiness. Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of her family and everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the lives of those she touched. Mazie’s family will receive friends on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Phillips Funeral Home from 10:00a.m. until service time at 11:00a.m. with Kelvin Standley officiating. Help the family always remember her as their little angel, their brightest star, who, in her short time on earth, taught them the true meaning of love and joy.
