Michael Lloyd Rowland

Michael Lloyd Rowland, 72, of Paragould was born May 25, 1949, in Waterloo, Iowa. He passed from this life at his home on April 16, 2022. Michael was a United States Marine Corps Vietnam veteran and a member of the Paragould Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2242.

Michael was mostly known as “Dad”, “Papa” and “Brother.” He leaves behind several loved ones, family and friends: sister, Patricia (Ted) Hradek of Iowa; nieces, Angela (Michael) Eads and Teri Hradek; brother, Robert (Deborah) Rowland of Iowa; niece, Laurel Rowland; nephew, Colin (Katie) Rowland; daughter, Melissa Ramirez of Iowa; granddaughter, Ashley Teodoro; grandsons, Mario, Sergio, and Miguel Ramirez; daughter, Amanda Crow; grandsons, Kerryc Hawk of Iowa, Michael and Austin Crow; son, Dustin (Jana) Rowland; grandsons, Hunter and Chase Rowland, Trenton McCamey, Tyler Andis; granddaughters, Edith (Kyle) Wegenke, Trinity McCamey; great-grandchildren, Ryder Lloyd Paul Rowland , Kinder Wegenke and Nevaeh Looney; son, Juston (Tiffany) Rowland; grandsons, Hunter Burk and Gage Rowland.

Michael joins the love of his life, Rayanna Rowland, and his parents, Lloyd and Frances Rowland in his new heavenly home.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 23, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. A procession will leave Phillips Funeral Home for a graveside service with military honors at Greene County Memorial Gardens at 1:30 p.m. with Military Chaplain officiating.

Dustin Rowland, Juston Rowland, Chase Rowland, Hunter Rowland, Eugene Walker, Billy Matthews and Kyle Wegenke will serve as pallbearers.
