Mona Carol (Crouch) McMillon

Mona Carol McMillon, 74, of Paragould, AR went to her heavenly home on Friday, November 10, 2023. Mona was born on January 20, 1949, in Marmaduke, AR. She graduated from Marmaduke High School in 1967. She was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. She worked many years as a cafeteria worker and manager, which she loved immensely. She loved taking care of and being with her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She was such a wonderful wife, mother, sister, MeMe, and so much more. 

Mona is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jim McMillon; daughter, Melana McMillon; and her parents, Darrell and Shirley Crouch. 

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Shawna (Chris) Grooms; sister, Sherry (David) Hensley; grandchildren, Blaine Grooms, Brylee Grooms, CJ Slatton, and Hannah (Seth) Berryhill; and a great-granddaughter, Presley Forbs. 

The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 1pm for family, and 1:30 for friends at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3pm with Brother Ron Pickney officiating. Burial will follow at Clark’s Chapel Cemetery. 

Chris Grooms, Daniel Hensley, CJ Slatton, Terry Easton, Jerry Easton, Seth Berryhill, Garrett Hensley, and Evan Freeman will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Blaine Grooms, Lonnie Vester, David Hensley, Randall Graves, Roy Davenport, Russ Cole, Duke Hooks, Justin Roberts, and Hayden Hartsfield.
