Patricia Irene Bailey

Patricia Irene Bailey, 77, of Light, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020. She was born April 10, 1943, to Auston and Rose Kemp. Patricia worked at Gemni in Walnut Ridge for many years and was of Baptist faith. She enjoyed planting flowers, trees, and loved being outdoors. Patricia loved sewing and was a natural caregiver that took care of sick people in the neighborhood. She was a loving mother and grandmother that cherished her family time.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William “Billy” Bailey; brothers, Vertis Kemp, Verlin Kemp and Gene Kemp; and sisters, Wanda Lenderman and Glenavee Walker.

Survivors include her children, William Bailey (Tracy), Linda Westhause (Michael), Greg Bailey (Farrah); sisters, Ruth Boyd, Cleasta Douglas, and June McBride; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28, at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Brandon Bailey, Joe Walker, Tyler Bailey, Greg Bailey, William Bailey, and Austin Bailey will serve as pallbearers. Dakota Bailey will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
