Teresa Lynn "Pruett" Chapin

Teresa Lynn Pruett Chapin, 57, of Rector, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024. She was born September 12, 1966, in Kennett, Missouri, to James E. and Patty Pruett. Teresa was a LPN at Access Medical in Marmaduke. She enjoyed drawing, art, and was a very avid reader. She always went out of her way to make sure that everyone had everything they needed. Teresa was a very special daughter, sister, and mother.

Teresa is preceded in death by grandparents, Ishamel and Ida Simpson, James H. and Martha Pruett; beloved uncle and aunt, Jr. and Millicent Somers.

Survivors include her parents, James E. and Patty Pruett; daughter, Kaitlynn (Blake) Barger; step daughters, Jessie Chapin, Mandy Chapin, Sara Henry; sisters, Tammy Cole, Jamie Pruett; step grandchildren, Seth Tanner, Carson Barr, Maysen Barr, Houston Henry, Lincoln Henry, Greyson Henry, Simon Henry; niece and nephews, Ashlie Thacker, Will Cole, Josh Cole, Justin Martin; great nieces and nephew, Abigail Thacker, Jasper Thacker, Kynlee Jolynn Thacker; and granddogs, Lilly and Bobo.

The family will receive friends on Saturday March, 23 at Phillips Funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until service time. The service will be at noon at Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas.
