Terry V. Harris

Terry V. Harris, 63, of Paragould, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

He was born on August 16, 1957, in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of the late Norman Harris and Joyce (Hoffman) Harris. 

Terry grew up in Southern Indiana and worked on his family’s hog farm before attending the University of Evansville.  After graduating with a degree in Accounting, Terry worked for several large manufacturing companies in Indiana, Alabama, Georgia and Arkansas (LA Darling). 

Terry loved his family deeply and spent countless hours attending football games, band concerts, church activities, and school functions.  He also had a passion for spending time in the outdoors, and never declined an opportunity to share experiences in nature with his children and loved ones. 

Terry’s greatest joy in life was his seven beloved grandchildren, and was always ready to deploy candy or “Papa Mints” and bear hugs at any given time. 

Terry loved and served his Lord Jesus Christ his entire life, and was an active member of his home church, Center Hill Church of Christ in Paragould, AR.

Survivors include his mother, Joyce Harris, Vincennes, IN; brother, Gary Harris, Vincennes, IN; sisters, Debbie Turok (husband Mark), Greenville, IL, and Kathy Morgan (husband David), Oaktown, IN; mother of his children, Betsye Harris, Paragould; son, Nathan Harris,  Fayetteville, AR; daughters, Natalie Makool (husband David), Paragould, AR, Jessica Noel (husband Cody), Paragould, AR, and Jennifer Dye (husband Ryan), Lincoln, AR; grandchildren (7), Khloe Makool, Reid Makool, Drake Noel, Darcy Noel, Ryder Noel, Bentley Dye, and Laylah Dye.

Services will be held at Phillips Funeral Home in Paragould, Arkansas, on Saturday, January 23^rd at 2:00 p.m. with Gary Cremeens officiating.  The family will receive friends Saturday, January 23^rd at Phillips Funeral Home from noon until service time.  Burial will follow at Pine Knot Cemetery.
