Thomas William Flanery

Thomas William Flanery, 81, of Paragould passed away February 10, 2021 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Tom was born October 5, 1939 in Delaplaine, AR to John and Addie Flanery. He worked many years in construction and owned a fish market in Marmaduke. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was an honest, hardworking, Christian man.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonnie Flanery; an infant daughter, Corina; a son, Harrison; a brother and sister-in-law, John Donald and Dorothy Flanery; a sister and brother-in-law, Lodema and Woody Jordan; and two daughters-in-law, Carla Flanery and Kimberly Flanery.

He is survived by his children Katherine Flanery; Rickey Flanery and his wife, Debbie; William Flanery; Zena Belle Blackwell and her partner, Keith Prince; James “Jimmy” Flanery and his wife, Kristie; Yule Flanery and his wife, Hannah Keller Flanery; a sister, Mildred King; 23 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 2 p.m. February 22, 2021 followed by a celebration of life at 3 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home in Paragould. Dale Snyder will preside over the services.
