Tim Howe, 63, passed away at home surrounded by family on June 6, 2022. He was born November 13, 1958, to Wallace and Marie Howe. Tim was a farmer in the Lafe area for his whole life. He started out farming with his dad and brother and later with his son and son-in-law. His children, Grant and Katie, were his world until his precious grandkids came along. Tim was a kind-hearted man that helped anyone in need and was loved by everyone.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Howe, and his first wife and the mother of their children, Margaret Anna Howe.
Survivors include his wife of 8 years, Reba Howe; father, Wallace "Beaver" Howe; son, Grant Howe (Megan); daughter, Katie Combs (Zach); brother, Scott Howe; sister, Pam Lyerly; sister-in-law, Connie Cline; and grandchildren, Case Rhett Combs and Charlotte Anna Howe.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 9, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. A procession will leave Phillips Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. for a graveside service at Greene County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Kim Bridges and Aaron Neugebauer officiating.
Grant Howe, Zach Combs, Scott Howe, Buck Lyerly, Jimmy Chism, and Jeremy Lange will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Jerry Winn, Mike Ellis, and Kenneth Brannum.
Lasting memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Make-A-Wish.
