Vicki Estelle (Butler) Tedder

Vicki Estelle Tedder, 62, of Paragould passed away April 13, 2022, at her home.  She was born July 27, 1959, in Memphis, TN.  She married Jimmy Tedder February 12, 1980. Vicki was a faithful member of Commissary Church of Christ and worked at Gilmore’s for over 35 years.

Vicki was a kind, caring lady who had an abundance of friends. Her house was always a welcoming place for family and friends. Her no-bake cookies were a staple around her house and something she always took when visiting others.  She enjoyed attending any events that involved her children, grandchildren or many other family and friends who she treated as if they also belonged to her.  She had a huge heart, was always doing for others, and always put other’s needs before her own.  If a need arose, she was always there to help.  She loved sewing and was an expert seamstress.  She took great pride in her work. She recently shared that the biggest blessing of her alteration work was the people that she had met over the years and how many friends she had made that she otherwise would not have known.  She was one of a kind and she made the world a better place.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Jimmy Tedder; mother, Geraldine Manley Butler; father-in-law and mother-in-law, A.M. “Dub” Tedder and Mattie Tedder; her sister, Gail Thompson; and a special grandson, Tavien Epley.

Vicki’s survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Meagan and Chad Couch of Delaplaine; her son and daughter-in-law, Blaine and Madison Tedder of Paragould; her grandchildren, Jaksyn Quinn Couch, Logan (L.J.) Tedder, Ensley Claire Couch and Alexis Murray.  She also is survived by her brother, Stanley Butler; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Susan and Keith Holifield; her nephews, Adam and Josh Butler, Kevin Ford, Chris, Casey and Colby Thompson, Drew and Seth Holifield; and many other dear family members and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, April 18, at Phillips Funeral Home from 6-8 pm.  The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 19, at 10:00 am at Phillips Funeral Home with Art Smith and Evan Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Warrens Chapel Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Josh Butler, Zane Butler, Kevin Ford, Nathan Greer, Barry DeHart and Drew Holifield.  Honorary pallbearers will be: Seth Holifield and Adam Butler.
