Gaylon Anderson, 81, of Paragould, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022. He was born December 22, 1940, in Arbyrd, Missouri, to Cloyd and Virginia Anderson. Gaylon worked for General Motors until his retirement. During deer season Gaylon enjoyed braving the cold with the best of them, in hopes of bringing home a big buck. Whittling was a great skill Gaylon was blessed with. He made exquisite, one of a kind knives to give away. He enjoyed seeing the reaction and smile on the face of the recipient. Gaylon was a devoted member of Harvest Baptist Church. He loved the Lord, his church, and his family. Spending time with family was a great joy in Gaylon’s life.
Gaylon was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Anita Anderson; and brother, Gerald Anderson.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Anderson; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Sherri Anderson; daughter and son-in-law, Gaylene and Rusty Rumschlag; step children and their spouses, Kenny and Andra Davis, Don and Sarah Davis; brothers, Jerry Anderson, Junior Anderson, Eddie Anderson, Moe Anderson, and Lindel Anderson; grandchildren, Nathan, Morgan, Tyler, and Melissa; 4 great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Betty Rhea.
