Yvonne Annette Martin, 82, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020. She was born April 1, 1937, in Powhattan, Arkansas, to Marvin and Geneva Miller. Yvonne enjoyed sewing, shopping, and canning food. Her cooking was in demand at many restaurants in Paragould, with her specialty being chicken and dumplings. Yvonne was a longtime member of Robb’s Chapel. Much joy was brought to her by her puppies, Baby and Princess.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bob, Jerry, Rick and David Miller; sisters, Florence Crockett and Bonnie Crockett; infant brother, Stephen Miller; and husband, David Martin.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Steve and Teresa Potter of Paragould; daughters and son in law, JoAnn Whitley of Gassville, Arkansas, Judy and Marty Maurizi of Paragould, and Angie Spencer of Florida; brothers, John, Edgar, Bill, Gary, and Pat Miller; sisters, Sharon Hatcher, Mary Wilkerson, and Sue Smith; eight grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 16, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Robb’s Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Robb’s Chapel with John Miller officiating and under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
Steve Potter, Dustin Potter, Daniel Potter, Marty Maurizi, Garrett Potter, and Jimmy Henderson will serve as pallbearers. All Yvonne’s family at Belle Meade Busby House will serve as honorary pallbearers.
