Zelda Adams

Zelda Adams, 61, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023. She was born December 28, 1961, to A. P. and Mary Duncan. Zelda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and was a member at Abundant Life Church. She loved visiting the beach and loved gardening, roses, and spending time in her rock gardens. She enjoyed laying in her hammock under the pecan tree in her front yard and worked at Walmart for 15 years.

Zelda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wesley Adams; and granddaughter, Ambriel Neal.

Survivors include her daughters, Zelda May Adams (Joseph), Jennivy Gail Neal; sisters, Evelyn Castle, Sandra David (Emil), Teresa Eidson (Brandon); and grandchildren, Ashton Neal, Preston Neal, Sylvia Adams, Jacob Adams, Hunter Adams, and Wesley Adams.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 15, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Tim Ohler officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lorado.

Heath Ring, Jon Williams, Joseph Larkin, Charles Day, Dakota Rice, and James Larkin will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Ashton Neal, Preston Neal, Jacob Adams, Hunter Adams, Wesley Adams, and Emil David.
