I met Phyllis in the fall of 1969, she became like a sister to me, we did many things together and she even tried to teach me to cook like her...I was never that good. Although I have not seen her in years, I have thought about her and the memories we shared like listening to Sam Cooke and the times she called my dad to come "help" with flat tires, etc. and he always did. Phyllis looked after me when I was young then time went on and I did not see her. A few years ago I saw her in DeSoto, we talked and said we would keep in touch but life goes on...I never saw her again but have been keeping up with her through her son Richard. God Bless this family and help them at their time of loss. Phyllis was a great mom, a good friend/sister and she will not be forgotten because she was loved by so many. Sending my deepest sympathy at this time of your loss...our loss. Love you Richard and Kenny. Rest in Peace Phyllis.
