So sorry for your family's loss. Isaiah 65:20 assures us that one day soon in the future: “No more will there be an infant from that place who lives but a few days, Nor an old man (or woman) who fails to live out his days. For anyone who dies at a hundred will be considered a mere boy...” Your mother/grandmother was blessed to live so long, but it's never as long as we would like. We look forward to the fulfillment of this hope.

I am so saddened by the passing of you Mom. She meant so much to me while I was growing up and I spent so many great times at your house. My Mom and Berniece were such good friends. We always came to see her when I brought Mom down to visit. I remember the last time we visited her before Mom died. Went to her cute little apartment. They talked and laughed just like old times. Your smile and laugh will always be in my heart. I am sure she and my Mom are catching up on everything and planting flowers. God bless you and your family. ❤️

Words cannot express how much the entire Freeman family means to Cynthia and me. Mrs. Bernice was clearly foundational to shaping the character and graciousness of the Freemans that Cynthia and I have so come to Love.

So sad to hear of Mrs. Day's passing. Both your parents were special people. During my youth when she "babysat" me and my younger siblings, I always looked forward to her presence. She was so sweet and loving and kind. She would teach me little cooking skills which I loved. I never recall her raising her voice or expressing displeasure at anything. She had a manner of disciplining with love. She was a wonderful mother, always talking with love and pride about her three beautiful, talented daughters. She worked hard, did not complain, served others gratefully, never putting herself first. She was God's blessing to her community, friends, and family and that mold has been broken, for there will never be another.

To all of the loving family of Mrs. Berniece, my prayers and condolences at this time of loss of your loved one. God just gained another angel. She was a blessing on earth and such a kind heart. She will be missed by one and many. God bless you all.

God grant you peace. She was a wonderful woman who lived a long, Godly life. There is nothing better that can be said about a person. She will most certainly be missed, but she is better by far now than her life had become here on earth. God bless all her family. Your faith will pull you through.
